Spotify is the largest streaming music service in Australia with 7.7 million users, and a report by MusicWatch suggests approximately 5.6 million Australians (that’s 26% of the population) listened to podcasts on a weekly basis. Globally the company has grown to 356 million users globally with 158 million subscribers.
Though Spotify has been around since 2011, it didn’t introduce the opportunity to create and share ads on its platform until 2017 and since COVID-19 hit, we have seen online entertainment platforms such as Netflix, Binge, Stan, Spotify and podcasts skyrocket in popularity.
The Spotify Ad Studio interface operates a lot like the ads managers on other platforms such as Pinterest Ads and Twitter Ads.
