Destination Scenic Rim is a collection of local businesses that want to share their slice of Queensland, while helping grow vibrant and sustainable tourism. From farmers, winemakers and chefs, to B&B owners and publicans, the organisation is passion about its locals businesses and the unique outdoor experiences the area has to offer.
The Creative Collective was engaged to:
  1. Increase brand awareness of the Scenic Rim as a must-see travel destination and its social media channels
  2. Grow and nurture followers on Destination Scenic Rim’s social media channels
  3. Drive engagement on Destination Scenic Rim’s social media channels
  4. Drive traffic to the Destination Scenic Rim website to encourage bookings
The Creative Collective has developed aspirational and engaging monthly content (x16 posts across Facebook and Instagram) aligned to the campaign objective and employed a hashtag strategy to maximise reach and engagement. Recognising the value of amplifying content outside of Destination Scenic Rim’s organic following, a monthly post boosting strategy was put in place to reach key audiences.
The results:
  • An increase of +5000 followers within 3 months.
  • Up to +207,180 impressions in one month
  • Increase from 48,000 reach to 92,000 reach since engaged.
  • Steady engagement rate of 4.5% (industry engagement benchmark: 0.02%).
  • Boosting posts reaching up to +32,000 people with a $50 budget.
