Our digital marketing internship program is designed to give you experience in a range of tasks and areas from communication/pr, graphic design, digital marketing, agency life, web etc. Depending on what internship you wish to complete, You’ll might be asked to write blog posts, whip up social media posts in Canva, do keyword research, help with web updates, attended client meetings and everything in between!
Our digital marketing internship program is designed to work around your other commitments such as your university studies and casual jobs. You’ll be asked to commit to either our 80 or 100 hour program with a minimum 1 day a week attendance at either our Maroochydore or Newcastle offices. Alternatively, you might like to compact your internship into a 2 or 3 week block.

Culture is really important to us at The Creative Collective and as such who we choose to work with is super important. We have two physical offices in Newcastle, NSW and the Sunshine Coast, QLD. Internships are available at either location.
We are a fast paced company and most roles are multi-faceted which requires exceptional organisational, time management and prioritising skills, ability to adhere to budgets and pre-defined briefs and an ability to cope under pressure. As an intern, you get a hands on experience of what its like to work in a fast paced environment with a passionate and motivated team.
You should have high energy and passion for what you do, a commitment to delivering excellence and a hunger to prove yourself. You will be prepared to become intimately familiar with our current systems, processes and procedures and be entrepreneurial and commercial in your thinking.
Types of Internships Offered
Are you interested in a career in the fast paced digital marketing industry? This internship program will open your eyes to possible career path in digital marketing.
You will work on real-life projects and gain exposure and skills in a wide variety of digital marketing streams.
In order to be considered for this internship, you will:
- Be currently studying or have finished a degree or diploma in communications, PR, digital media or marketing
- Be available a minimum of 1 day per week
- Have great attention to detail, spelling and punctuation
- Be able to work autonomously and within a team environment
- Possess multi-tasking skills and an eagerness to learn and assist
- Be able to take constructive and professional critisim and feedback on your work, in order to fine-tune your work.

Web Development is a challenging and rewarding career!
This internship will help develop your conceptual and technical skills. You will work on real-life projects, predominantly using the WordPress platform, you will be equipped with a project brief, and feedback from our qualified team to fine tune your work.
In order to be considered for this internship, you will:
- Be currently studying or have finished a degree or diploma in web development
- Be available a minimum of 1 day per week
- Have good knowledge of HTML & CSS fundamentals
- Have some exposure to using WordPress
- Have great attention to detail
- Be able to work autonomously and within a team environment
- Possess multi-tasking skills and an eagerness to learn and assist
Be able to take constructive and professional critisim and feedback on your work, in order to fine-tune your work.

- Be able to take constructive and professional critisim and feedback on your work, in order to fine-tune your work.
