Established in 2007, The Creative Collective is a proudly regional and leading independent and full service marketing agency with extensive capabilities and experience across a broad range of industries and services, especially digital marketing.
Founded in Maroochydore, Sunshine Coast in 2007 by Yvette Adams, between 2009 — 2014 the business operated as a franchise with offices on the Gold Coast and Newcastle, NSW.
In late 2013, the decision to centralise all franchised offices, clients and operations was made, and Katrina Lees, previously the Newcastle franchisee, became the business partner of Yvette Adams.
In 2017 the business acquired Fig Creative, a marketing agency previously based in Maleny, Sunshine Coast. Since then the business has gone from strength to strength.
Today we are proud to have offices and an amazing high performing team in two of the fastest growing regional towns in Australia – the Sunshine Coast & Newcastle – which boast an exceptionally high standard of living, lockdowns or not.
We generally meet client online via Google Meet or Zoom in all corners of Australia including Melbourne,… Sydney,… Brisbane,… Gold Coast, Canberra, Adelaide and New Zealand including… Auckland, Wellington & Christchurch.

We have experience working with a wide range of industries but have particular expertise in servicing the not-for-profit sector, property and construction sector, as well as eCommerce, health and medical. Some of these sectors we have seen huge growth in since COVID hit in 2020.
We are proud to work with many nationally recognised brands such as elf cosmetics, SBS TV, Palm Lakes Resorts, Stellarossa cafe network, the US Embassy & Toshiba, as well as many highly anticipated events such as Beef Australia – one of Australia’s largest events attracting over 100,000 attendees and RESET the annual conference for The Australian Association of National Advertisers (AANA).
We also pride ourselves on being well credentialled. From 2019 – 2021 our founder Yvette Adams & fellow consultant Heather Porters were announced as two of only 8 official Facebook Community Trainers for AU/NZ. Both of them engaged in intensive training and delivered training to thousands of small businesses in Australia, initially in person, and when COVID hit, via purely online platforms. Audiences included Bushfire affected communities; women in business and regional business groups.… To this day, both Heather and Yvette retain several of Facebook’s global certifications, and many of our other team members are also working towards these. As an agency many of our team also hold Google certifications. Our company retains Google Partner status. We are also Many Chat agency partners. We have excellent relationships with TikTok & Pinterest. We are also widely recognised as leaders in chatbot competitions having run dozens of campaigns – all with exceptional results.

Most recently we have been recognised with the Best SEO Campaign of 2020 at a the national SEM Rush Awards, and we were finalists in x4 categories of the Social Media Marketing Awards, with Claire Sandhoff winning the Best Emerging Leader category.

Community Focused
We are active members of the communities in which we operate, regularly donating our services on a pro bono basis or in a mentoring capacity to causes we care about.
Historically we have been big supporters of initiatives involving youth, education, technology and female leadership including Start Up Weekends, the Teens Take Control program and the Sunshine Coast’s Silicon Coast group which emerged as a local group for startups, entrepreneurs, marketers, developers and creatives post Startup Weekend Sunshine Coast.
Our founder Yvette has served in many volunteer roles including as the Chair of the Knowledge & Service Industries Taskforce for Sunshine Coast Council, the Australian Institute of Company Directors Sunshine Coast Committee and as one of the ‘expert panel’ advising on the… AICD’s Directing Growth Program. She is currently on the management committee of a fast growing not-for-profit on the Sunshine Coast – 121 Care.
We regularly accept students for work experience and internships.
