When we offer copywriting services we step into the shoes of your target market to create copy that cuts through!
Copywriting is an art. It needs to cut-through and resonate with your target audience, offer solutions to their problems and communicate benefits, not just features of your service. In our experience, we have seen clients think they can write the copy themselves but realise that when they put pen to paper or fingers to keyboard its not quite as easy as they anticipated. And this isn’t surprising really when at the end of the day, you are an expert in your respective field, and not a copywriter. So it makes sense to leave the copywriting side of things to someone who does pride themselves on being a wordsmith.
At The Creative Collective, we provide a professional copywriting service and we hope to help you with your new project!
Our copywriting services suit people who are:
- Marketing Managers or Business Owners who are time-poor and struggling to find dedicated ‘chunks’ in their diary to sit down and devote to copywriting
- People who see the value of getting someone with ‘fresh eyes’ to do ‘justice’ to the sharing of their messages
- People who recognise the value of using professional copywriters
- Business owners who struggle to step out of the role of ‘service provider’, and into the role of the ‘customer/client’
- Marketing Managers, CEO’s or Business Owners who need a quick turnaround.
Our process

1. Initial copywriting services briefing session
Prior to undertaking your copywriting project, we will take the time to get to know you, your business, your business objectives, target market, competitive landscape and desired outcomes/uses for the copy (words) we are preparing for you. Once we understand who you are targeting, we can start to set the ‘tone and voice’ for the copy. Is it corporate? Is it professional, but approachable? Is it fun and playful?
From there, we will look at your intended use for the copy and therefore how we will structure it. Is it short and sharp? Longer form with key actions punctuated. Is it intended for a trifold brochure with lots of images to tell the story? A larger prospectus? How about an annual report or business award submission with set word counts?
All of these considerations and much more make up the copywriting brief. We will then provide a debrief to you post session for you to approve, which will be the basis from which we will work. We may ask you to provide us with additional supporting documentation such as old copy, competitor information etc. which will help us hit the mark.

2. Research and provision of a draft
Once the copywriting brief is locked down, our copywriters will get to work. Usually we will start with a bit of a canvas of the market. Who else is out there? How do they present themselves? We call this phase ‘inspiration gathering’. Through this process we’ll really get to know your industry, and consider what your unique points of difference are and therefore how to position the copy. With any required research conducted, it’s time to get writing.
We don’t plagarise, and there’s no ‘copy + paste’. Our writers start from scratch writing unique copy for your business which is on-brand, resonates with your market and communicates all the key info. Once copy has been prepared, it will be provided to you for review — we generally ask you to read through the copy and make sure it is factually and ‘technically’ correct and to let us know if there is anything you would like reworked/amended.

3. Provision of final copy!
Once you have reviewed the copy, we will finalise this based on your feedback and provide the finished version for your use. If we are also working with you to roll out the copy into marketing collateral or onto a website, the copy will also be sent to the team working on this aspect of the project.
