A Little About The Creative Collective:

Female led – We are a female led company, with an all female management team.

Inclusivity and diversity is extremely important to us and we’re proud of the diversity in our team. Our current team ranges from 22 year olds to those who are in their late 50s, heralding from Sri Lanka, England, New Zealand and Australia.

We’re all about helping our team members identify their own strengths and weaknesses and working with them to lean on the strengths and develop the weaknesses.

We are all about empowerment. Our company values are trust, respect and kindness and we empower our team to make decisions on our behalf guided by these values i.e. ‘is the client trusting us? Respecting us? Being kind to us? No? Maybe it’s time to part ways…”

We like to provide guidance and mentoring but not micro-manage at any point allowing our team the space to grow and evolve.

We are very open, honest and transparent, sharing the company financials with our leadership team, and offering the opportunity for other team members to join meetings if they would like to know what is going on.

We are big on professional development and are of the belief that our team need to constantly acquire new skills and refresh their existing knowledge to not only do their jobs better but to feel happy and confident, to be efficient and productive and to deliver a better service to our clients. We have a dedicated professional development policy and allocate a budget per team member per year. Training can be provided to applicants who have gaps.

We’re very proud of fostering new talent we’ve facilitated over the years and continue to facilitate for everyone from interns (we host on average x10 per year) to staff.

We value different perspectives, and will always consider each others point of view, whatever they may be.

Our team of full-time and part-time staff are split evenly across our Sunshine Coast (Maroochydore) and Newcastle offices (Wickham), however we offer flexibility with the digital marketing jobs we offer and are open to remote working. We are always on the lookout to add to our team of staff or our wider network of contractors, many of whom have worked with us for 10 years or more, and who relish the opportunity to receive a constant flow of work from someone who pays on a timely basis, without the need to go out and drum up new business or chase clients for bills unpaid.

Working for us as a contractor means you can get the best of both worlds – you get to play on your strengths and bury yourself in what you do best whether that be SEO, PPC, social media, PR, copywriting, graphic design or otherwise. We supply you with a steady stream of digital marketing work and you bill one person who pays on a timely basis – us! There are also sometimes opportunities to work with our other companies The Training Collective & awardshub.com.
