
Aus China Council | Social Media campaign
Aus China Council, a division of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs approached us for assistance in running a 40 day social media campaign to celebrate the Australia-China Council’s 40th anniversary. The content consisted of 40 days’ of historical information in the form of text, photos and 10-15 short videos. which we edited down from 30 minutes of footage supplied by the client.
Campaign objectives:

Increase the audience of AUS/China facebook page – 3,068 people at commencement of campaign

Build awareness of the 40 year milestone

Results:

Over the last 28 days of the campaign Facebook page views increased by 32% and post reach increased 18% reaching over 50,000 people

The actions on page increased 200%

The number of new users towards the end of the campaign was up 909% on the previous 31 days

The attention of ‘new users’ was gained (i.e. people who may not previously been familiar with the Australia China Council and its history/activities)
