Suite of Creative Assets

To enhance its brand presence and engage with its growing passenger base, Newcastle Airport launched the “That’s The Newy Way” campaign. The Creative Collective was entrusted with developing a suite of creative assets as part of this initiative. Our task was to create a comprehensive collection of visual and messaging elements that could be utilised across various digital platforms and physical locations.

Newcastle Airport is one of Australia’s fastest-growing airports, servicing over 1.28 million passengers annually. As the second busiest airport in New South Wales, it stands out for its exceptional service and connectivity. Partnering with six leading airlines, the airport offers direct non-stop flights to 13 exciting domestic destinations and connects passengers to over 65 destinations worldwide.

Drawing inspiration from Newcastle Airport’s unique brand personality, we crafted a variety of supporting campaign messages designed to highlight the benefits and convenience of the airport’s services. Our approach centered on producing a suite of creative assets that were playful, enticing, and aligned with the brand’s vibrant personality. This strategy was aimed at generating maximum appeal and driving bookings.

Our suite of creative assets included a range of static and animated visuals tailored for social media, digital displays, and in-terminal advertising. We carefully selected aspirational stock imagery that resonated with the campaign’s messaging, ensuring consistency and appeal across all platforms. Each piece was designed to capture the attention of travelers and convey the ease and enjoyment of flying through Newcastle Airport.

The successful implementation of these creative assets not only met but exceeded the client’s expectations. Pleased with the outcome, Newcastle Airport has since engaged us for additional graphic design projects and an integrated paid advertising marketing campaign.
