Visit Batemans Bay
Bateman’s Bay is a bustling commercial centre on the south coast of New South Wales with a relaxed coastal atmosphere, it is the perfect base for exploring the surrounding villages, forests, national parks, beaches and waterways of Eurobodalla. The town flags the end of the Clyde River’s long journey to the ocean where it gently spills out into a large and beautiful bay. Bateman’s Bay offers a multitude of water and nature-based activities and with its temperate climate, national parks, and spectacular waterways, “The Bay” is a popular holiday destination all year round. A popular spot for kayaking and fishing, features salt marshes and coastal forests. Birdland Animal Park is home to wombats, koalas and kangaroos. The area also boasts a world class oyster industry producing Sydney rock, Pacific and native Angasi oysters making it also known as Australia’s ‘Oyster Coast’. Land of the Walbanja people in Yuin Country on the beautiful South Coast of NSW.
We were delighted to work with the Batemans Bay Business and Tourism Chamber on developing, scheduling and publishing their destination social media content over a six month period.
Our founder Yvette Adams also visited the Bateman’s Bay region following the bush fires of January 2020 to help those businesses affected by the fires recover, as an official presenter for Facebook.
Overall the destination social media content engagement helped the team at Batemans Bay Business and Tourism Chamber to grow their online community, and achieve higher engagement and reach. Ultimately the organisation brought their social media content management inhouse, but we were glad to have helped them on their way to begin with.
