Consulting & Marketing Strategy for Not for Profit in Brisbane
Burnie Brae is a not-for-profit community organisation based at Chermside in Brisbane, Queensland which services encompass three key areas: care services, allied health services and member services. They have x2 Brisbane based sites with plans to establish a new site in the Moreton Bay region. Their mission is to support elderly individuals in enjoying their best life.
Upon our engagement, marketing activities and spend were focused on existing residents, encouraging them to utilise the facilities, and not outward facing in areas such as printed newsletters, social media content with boosted posts on Facebook only, no ads on social media, some Google Ads, and the production of brochures, pamphlets, and an annual report. In addition, this brand has just been updated as the organisation were celebrating their 40th anniversary in 2024.
We were engaged by the organisation to strategise a three-month campaign for the 40th anniversary and took into consideration their campaign budget, timing and resources. The organisation were so impressed with some of our innovative suggestions such as inviting 40 residents who exemplify the ‘Burnie Brae way’ to plant 40 trees; sharing 40 memories over 40 days on social media and email and more; that they contracted us to also produce marketing strategies for their wider organisation.
This important local community service are now rolling out these two marketing strategies, and we remain in the wings to execute on their next project as required, with a possibility of expanding our relationship into a Partner Solutions package in the future.
