As of Monday 23 March 2020, we made the decision to ask all of our team to start working from home. Though the Australian Government had not yet called a full lockdown, with essential services still able to trade, we felt asking our team to work from home was the responsible thing to do. At the same time and for similar reasons, we decided to move all of our training to an online format.
As we all make sense of the evolving situation, we are guided by our company values which are:
1 Trust
2. Kindness
3. Respect
We feel it is the kind thing to do to ensure the safety and health of our team and to our clients, and we hope they trust and in turn respect us for making these decisions.
So how does this affect things?
In all honesty – not a lot! We’re still open the same hours, the team are still working and ready to chat and we’ve been a fully cloud based business since 2009 and were actually considered a pioneer for doing so, winning awards along the way due to this.
We’ve also been offering online trainings since 2010 when we first won a Government tender to deliver webinars to small businesses across Queensland, the first time the Queensland Government had offered training online.
Since then we have run hundreds of webinars, and have developed over 35 online modules, several significant online programs digitally upskilling entire regions of Australia and in the process, we have trained thousands of people.
Our instructors and teams are committed to maintaining a quality experience for all of our participants whether it be a short one hour webinar, or a half day or full day BYO workshop which is now being delivered online.
You can see what we have coming up here: www.thecreativecollective.com.au/events.
And this move actually opens up some opportunities. You can now choose a workshop on a day which suits you and not a location too.
We can now take more people on our workshops (but we still intend to keep them small and intimate), and in the coming weeks, and in support of the state of many businesses at the current time, we will be offering them at a more affordable price, as well as introducing payment plans.
We’ll continue to provide updates as this develops and encourage all of you to take care of yourselves and stay safe. If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to reach out via email to us – admin@thecreativecollective.com.au or learn@thetrainingcollective.com.au if it is about training.
