Many businesses regularly engage influencers to promote their brands on social networks such as Instagram, Snapchat, Twitter, Facebook and more.

Influencer Marketing can be a powerful way to amplify your message on social media which can help you to build brand awareness, build your following and in some cases gain sales. But getting influencers to promote your brand can be a long and tedious process. The market is much more sophisticated than many may realise.

Which is why our approach to influencer marketing is different. We won’t just chase an influencer who millions of followers, makes outlandish promises and who wears a lot of bikinis.

We believe quality influencers are micro influencers. People who have followers and a niche but who are still up and coming and don’t have the egos and false promises and lack of delivery that many influencers have become known for. We also believe in working with an influencer for the long term, not just for some flash in the pan, here today, gone tomorrow one off post. Building a relationship with them for a set period, with set terms. With better outcomes

If are to be engaged, we will complete a briefing session with you to identify what your objectives, target market and brand voice are, which platforms you are on and wish to target, what product/s or service/s if any you have to offer as part of the package and what sort of budget you have to work with. Then, using our professional influencer identifying software we will shortlist influencers who fit the brief, and then either with you, or alone, cull these down to a final list we will work with. Their followers are more likely to be in your geographic market, in a relevant industry, and the connection with their followers is therefore stronger meaning that your campaign is more likely to get the results you are after.

Our Process for Influencer Marketing Campaigns

1. Initial Briefing Session

Once we are engaged, we will take the time to get to know you, your business objectives, target market, competitive landscape and desired outcomes from the campaign. We will also gather key information such as any existing log ins, or marketing messages you’d like to use for brand consistency (however we can also do these up for you as part of the process), and more.  We will provide a debrief post this session for you to approve, which will be the basis from which we will work on.

2. List of influencers provided

With the brief in hand, we will collate a list of influencers for you to review, disclosing their @handles, number of followers and average engagement rate so you have full disclosure of what you are gaining access to. We will make recommendations on the mix we would encourage you to move ahead with, but there is room for negotiation and for you to have input into this process.

3. Influencers engaged

Once we’ve confirmed which influencers you wish to work with, we will engage them, negotiating to work with them on the agreed terms – often a sample of the product + cash. Sometimes just cash. And gaining a commitment for when they will action the shout outs within the campaign period.

4. Campaign commenced, monitored and reported on

Once the campaign is commenced, we will monitor it, and then report on the final campaign and results i.e. number of likes, comments and so on. We need your help understanding what the impact has been too, so will arrange an end of campaign meeting to ‘unpack’ what occurred.

5. Campaign is Complete! Repeat and or/move on to other services!

Once your influencer marketing campaign is complete, we can either embark on another (many of our clients do) OR provide you with a number of other services to help you continue to build on your social media presence and enjoy a higher level of enquiry, brand awareness and sales. These include:

Brolga Lakes is a new property development in South East Queensland. As part of our pitch to win this contract we included the concept of engaging influencers to engage in the early stages of the project, including identifying those who are interested in sustainability, with the projects heavy focus on sustainability. A range of influencers have been identified and are currently being culled for future invite to the VIP launch event, and some of whom we will look to engage for an ongoing relationship to promote the project as it develops.
