Navigating the print world can be a whole new experience if you don’t know their language. Professional printing usually requires preparation of professional print-ready artwork with inclusions such as specific colour profiles, registration marks, trim marks etc.

We take all the stress out of printing for you an d can ensure your documents are prepared to print-ready artwork standards. We partner with a number of trade printers which gives us access to rates that otherwise aren’t available to the general public and can coordinate everything from woe to go.

What We Print

We print loads of standard and non-standard items, and can also include special finishes such as spot varnishes, metallic finishes, hole drilling, numbering, round corners etc.

  1. Either supply your documents to be printed or get us to prepare them for you with our graphic design services. You can opt to supply your own files, which we inturn can get print-ready. If you don’t yet have the documents ready, or they require changes, our graphic designers can look after this for you.
  1. Let us know what quantity you would like, what stock and whether it is single sided or double sided and we’ll source the best price from our range of trade printers
  2. Sign-off on your print-ready proof and await delivery within around 3 days for standard items such as business cards etc (other non-standard items may take up to 1-2 weeks).

What is a printing proof?

A printing proof, is a final copy of your document and your chance to review to make sure that all information is correct. Once approved, this is what goes to print.

What are trim marks?

If you want ink to run all the way to the edge of your paper or stock without a white border, this requires trimming. The printer prints on oversized stock so once trimmed, it appears the ink is printed all the way to the edge and your document is in it’s finished size.

What is a bleed?

Most printers will require a ‘bleed’ on artwork – this allows for images and colour to display beyond the boundaries of it’s finished size. The document is printed on oversized paper or stock and then trimmed to size, giving the illusion that your ink has been printed to the edge of the paper.

What is stock?

Stock is another name for paper or the material in which your documented will be printed. Stock will encompass things like the type of paper, the weight, in GSM of the paper etc.

What is GSM?

GSM is the weight given to the stock, usually determining its thickness. Standard paper that you would run through your home printer is usually 80gsm, professional printing of something like letterheads is usually on 100GSM or 120GSM, brochures and flyers on 150GSM, business cards anywhere from 300GSM to 400GSM.
