Gloria Jean’s Coffees is an American-Australian retail coffeehouse chain company that operates more than 1,000 coffee houses in 39 countries, including over 460 in Australia. In March of 2020, we were engaged by Gloria Jeans North Mackay to set up a brand new Instagram account for their business.
This client had limited social media exposure and was seeking a professional setup to improve awareness and interest in the business. This setup package included creating the Instagram account, creating a cover image, clarifying a brand bio and producing nine initial posts including text, imagery and relevant hashtags. This account was also attached to the existing Facebook page for ease of future posting for the client.
Images were sourced from the approved collection of Gloria Jeans social media marketing imagery. They were then edited in Canva by one of our graphic designers. These edits included adding extra elements such as custom drawing, cartoon elements and a consistent colour scheme that could be replicated in future posts. This customisation created eye catching posts to bring in interest from new customers.
This particular Instagram setup involved close consultation with the client in order to clarify which products and services were available during an extended period of COVID-19 isolation. This meant including the clients affiliation with ‘Skip’, the queue jumping, online ordering system that allows customers to spend less time waiting in store for their order. This was a very important aspect to convey to current and future customers. This eye-catching account setup was extremely successful as it saw immediate engagement from local customers who were seeking more information about available hospitality services during COVID-19.
