Pialligo Truffles
Pialligo Truffles is a boutique truffle farm located in the picturesque suburb of Pialligo, Canberra. Set on 8.5 acres, the farm is family owned and operated which being home to over 800 truffle trees which produce rich and tasty truffles yearly between June and September. Oaky, nutty and earthy, Pialligo Truffles’ truffles are a rare delight and an exquisite addition to everything.
Initially approaching us seeking a revamp to their instagram channels, we discovered when we asked for their brand files and brand style guide to commence this project that they did not have the necessary working files in hand, nor a branding style guide to model our work on, so we recommended we also assist them with these items to ensure a distinctive and consistent style across all communications and platforms for their brand. A colour palette was developed with a range of brown hues, leaning on the fact their products are luxurious truffles found in the earth. We developed and provided a range of logo variations including a black on white version, a white on black version and versions using the new brown colour palette. We also identified suitable fonts settling on Crimson Text SemiBold & Montserrat Light.
With the brand style guide approved and in hand, we moved on to fixing up/revamping their company Instagram Page to be reflective of their brand + offerings & utilising all available & relevant features for their line of business. We changed the profile image to their company logo, improved their bio. We then further researched competitors and hashtags the company could start to use in future posts.
We also recommended they create a theme and provided a draft grid with x9 images for clients to approve and with a view to keep this theme going thereafter. We created story highlights and established the client on Milkshake App which meant they could link to more than one link, from the one clickable link in their instagram bio.
The client were so delighted with this work, we have since been contracted for preparing a range of design & packaging options for the client to consider in the lead up to harvest of the truffles in winter including a specially selected pouch which retains moisture and allows the truffles to be posted to purchases, and some luxurious gift boxes.
