Care Activities is a small, not-for-profit provider of Before and After School Care in four locations across Lake Macquarie. They were established in 2017 after separating from their sister entity, Community Services Lake Macquarie. Care Activities have doubled in size since January 2021 and are committed to providing high quality, accountable and professional support, and childcare services. Care Activities hope to become the OOSH provider of choice for both schools and parents.
The Creative Collective were contracted for rebranding and website development. The objective of the rebranding was to have consistency within their new formal brand, and to increase enrolments as they became the OOSH provider of choice amongst schools and with parents.
The Creative Collective were approached to produce a new child care brand for Care Activities, ensuring to stick with the fun, trustworthy feel of their organisation. We were also tasked with rebranding the organisation’s website to fit in with the new branding. After consultation with the client, we were able to hit the brief of creating a fun, child friendly yet professional logo. We also developed a simple brand style guide that provides correct logo usage, brand colours and fonts so they can use their brand guide to its full advantage on any future marketing collateral they develop. While rebranding, we also conducted research to determine words and phrases that audiences respond well to, which guided the branding creation process.

This client had no formal brand before commencing work with The Creative Collective. We were able to provide them with a new logo and style guide, as well as bringing consistency across different mediums. The client was impressed with their new style guide that matched the fun and vibrant nature of their business. They were also pleased with their new website that utilises their new child care brand.
Results include:
  • A company brand/style guide to assist with all future client communication materials
  • A vibrant and colourful logo with multiple variations for different channels (such as social media profile images or website logos)
  • A unique colour pallet to reinforce strong brand messaging
  • Font selections
  • A responsive and visually appealing website that effectively represents the brand personality and displays information clearly
