Queensland digital skills training business, The Training Collective, headed by local entrepreneur, Yvette Adams has partnered with Facebook Australia to bring free half-day workshops to small business throughout Queensland. As part of Queensland Small Business week (QSBW), The Training Collective are visiting five locations to share best practice education on how to use Facebook to help businesses grow in Australia and internationally. The Community Boost program is focused on supporting small business in regional Australia by providing workshops for people starting and running a business on Facebook and Instagram. Attendees will learn directly from Facebook’s Community Trainers and will walk away with the most up-to-date tools, best practices and resources that can help you grow your business.

Yvette Adams recently qualified as one of eight new Facebook Community Trainers across Australia and New Zealand and will help train thousands of small business owners in regional towns and centres across the country. Facebook is working with independent training professionals to bring digital skills education to communities around Australia on how to use Facebook and Instagram to start, grow and boost their business. The network is equipped with best-practice education and training from Facebook and are committed to supporting small businesses to thrive.

“We’re so excited to be collaborating with Facebook to bring digital skills to small businesses as part of Queensland Small Business Week and can’t wait to equip them with best practice education. The workshops, for those starting out in business or well on your way, there is something for everyone,” says Yvette Adams.

“We know that there can sometimes be a lot of questions out there from business owners about how they can grow their business on Facebook, and we hope to help these budding entrepreneurs through interactive, best-practice training for free.”

The Facebook Community Boost Program was informed from the Connecting Benefits report, published by PwC Australia, highlighting that Facebook is a platform for Australians and Australian businesses to connect and benefit.
