In everything we do, we aim to practice what we preach. In line with this our company has a commitment to giving back at every level - locally, nationally and internationally to causes, individuals or organisations who have a cause we feel passionate about supporting.

The University of the Sunshine Coast
We are proud to have a close working relationship with the University of the Sunshine Coast and regularly accept students for work experience and internships at our office.
We are proud to further our support for the University by offering for the first time this year an end of term student prize to a student who has excelled in the Global eBusiness course.
The University could do with more donors of awards to honour excellence in it's students. You might also consider donating:
• within your area of interest at USC;
• in memory or in honour of a close relation or mentor;
• to encourage greater focus on a particular area of study;
• through a bequest in your will.
The national organisation we support:
The Beacon Foundation
The Beacon Foundation is a national not-for-profit organisation that seeks to influence the attitudes and culture of Australians so that each young person develops an independent will to achieve personal success for themselves and their community. We have a close working relationship with the Queensland Beacon Foundation office where we feature at careers days at local high schools for ‘at risk’ students, promoting the Foundation’s efforts to our clients and other key contacts. There are many ways you can also support the work of the Foundation including Financial support, Employee engagement, In-kind goods and services, Pro bono support, Workplace giving, Attend a Beacon event eg Charter signing and more. Lynedoch EcoVillage Development is in Stellenbosch, a University town 30 minutes drive inland from Cape Town in South Africa. A friend of the Creative Collective's director currently runs a Youth Group here every week day after school. anything between 15 and 30 (or more) kids turn up for a couple of hours each day.
They currently have only one computer to share, and not a good one at that, so we are supporting an initiative to buy more computers for the Youth Group and the kids who use it so they can enjoy learning and develop key skills via the games on the computer. Any contribution towards the computers are welcome.
As of January 2010 fundraising efforts have made enough to buy one computer, possibly two. Any amount of donation is welcome.

http://www.maggiesdreamcatcher.org.au - Maggie's Dreamcatcher is a charity set up to build and fund a hospital in Dharamsala, Northern India. We supported the organisation by offering completing work for free on behalf of the organisation in various capacities. Please help them achieve their goal by donating money here towards this great cause or by buying Who is George? a colourful children's book written by Cheryl Ryan for the purpose of raising funds towards the charity. http://www.sunshinehospice.org.au - The Sunshine Coast Community Hospice will offer palliative care for individuals both adults and children and their loved ones as they learn to live with a life threatening illness. Currently there is no free standing hospice on the Sunshine Coast. Children unable to be cared for at home have no facility in which to die other than an acute hospital, which often results in children being transferred to Brisbane. We supported the organisation by offering free PR and media consultancy services and provided assistance with the launch event held at Lake Kawana Community Centre on Friday May 23rd 2007 which featured 600 guests including Allan Pease (MC), Ashley Robinson (auctioneer), Katie Richardson (Miss World Australia) and many other esteemeed guests from the community. Please help them achieve their goal by donating money here towards this great cause or becoming a Friend of the Hospice (FOH). - http://www.inspire.org.au - The Inspire Foundation is a national non-profit organisation established in 1996 with a mission to create opportunities for young people to change their world. By “their world” it is whatever is real for them. This could be struggling with depression or suicidal thoughts, wanting to do something for their local community or simply experiencing new ways to learn and grow. Inspire serves young people aged 16-25 through the delivery of three key programs, Reach Out!, ActNow and Beanbag. More info on these can be seen on the Inspire website.
