Job Description
As of May 2011, the Broadband Today Alliance (BBT) is a collaboration of 40+ local governments with 24 Queensland & 14 New South Wales Councils representing a population base over 4.4 million or 1 in 5 Australians. There is also growing interest from Victorian, SA and WA Councils. Members of BBT are currently meet to discuss key issues surrounding the National Broadband Network (NBN) roll out in each of their respective local government areas as well as ways to develop the digital or broadband economy. In addition a website – www.broadbandtoday.com.au - has been established with a view to act as the communications platform for the organisation.

The Creative Collective were approached by Michael Whereat, Broadband & Digital Economy Manager for Broadband Today and the Sunshine Coast Regional Council to set up and facilitate monthly webinars for the Broadband Today Alliance.
