What is a content management system and and why does it exist?
This content management solution was developed specifically from experience and requests by our clients.
The main request from clients who have come to us has been "Can I change the text / images of my website and can I add a new page when I want?"
In most cases the client has expected the answer of no, but I can (the developer) for a small fee.
Our response has been:
"Sure, no problems, how much control would you like ?"
With our primary goal being that of assisting you in the management of your website we got stuck into building a content management solution that was scalable for mini sites (1-3 pages) right up to corporate intranet / websites of over 500 pages. Well it seemed fairly straight forward on paper, and when we put our minds to it the result was a lot better than even we expected.
Our goal was to build a CMS with a lot of straight forward no-nonsense applications. Thats the easy part. As a secondary goal the content management had to be able to look like anything the client desired. Well CSS came to the rescue on that one. All in all development proceeded nicely and the content management system was finally named and created.
