Clayton Storey - Graphics Guy

Specialty areas: print :: corporate ID/logo design :: advertising in press

Clayton Storey's love for design saw him develop a general interest into a fully-fledged freelance career.

Starting out with flyer and poster development for local community groups, Clayton's design interest and flourishing skills led him to a job at a local firm which provided trade businesses with signs, vehicle livery, merchandise and custom-made gifts.

His thirst for travel took him to the UK where he worked for a nation-wide electrical retailer producing design collateral from an in-house studio.

Specialty areas: Creative :: Branding :: Advertising :: Marketing :: Design

Amy's passion for her profession is the key to her creativity. This drive to produce original concepts and compositions is further complemented by her extensive design and pre-press experience. Whilst completing a Bachelor of Design, Amy studied the core principles of effective visual communication: a balance of engaging aesthetics and deliberate marketing mechanics. Applying this premise to all creative campaigns, Amy is consistently rewarded with superior design solutions.

Amy has enjoyed a career of diverse opportunities, entering into the industry as a packaging and corporate designer before branching out into the arenas of retail advertising, brand development and freelance promotional projects. Now running her own freelance agency, day-to-day business means making the most of her initiative, positive attitude and excellent communication skills to deliver personalised and professional service. Amy is always up for a challenge and her clients agree that she is motivated, reliable and able to adjust to shifting priorities and deadlines.

Based in Brisbane, Amy is partial to the quiet life of the suburbs but occasionally indulges in the cultural entertainment and shopping experiences on offer in the city centre. When she isn't meeting friends for coffee, walking her dog or heading to the cinema, Amy likes to relax by curling up with a good book or getting back to her creative roots of traditional illustration and fine-art.

Amy is excited to add her expertise to the combined talents of the Creative Collective.

Francesca Carra

Specialty areas: Logos :: Layout Design :: Advertising :: Packaging :: Brand Promotions

Francesca's epic journey began in corporate design. From brochures, annual reports to large scale advertising campaigns. Her employment began in a small two person studio, then moved into advertising, she finally made her check-mate move into a medium size studio. Over the past 10 years her designs weaved their way nation wide and have sailed across the waters to Dubai, England, Ireland as well as the United States from LA, New York, St Louis, Atlanta to Austin, Texas.

Her corporate design path built a strong foundation and knowledge of how design can work for any client, corporate or other. How to best brand the service and/or product by understanding the market and it's changing trends. With such experience Francesca finally called it a day working ‘for the man’. From her bedroom, ‘the studio’, she worked on large and small projects and when the opportunity arose also freelanced in other design studios. In between small business clients, Francesca started tapering a path towards her main passion and interests, music and film.

As time has moved, four years have almost clocked over and many achievements made. A ‘real’ studio space, one motion picture and numerous musicians now under her belt. Francesca continues to service government bodies, small businesses and the music community. Providing packaging and promotions for on stage artists. Venturing further in, Francesca has started
putting together press kits and writing artist biographies and advertorials. Creeping into visual merchandising, she’s fitted boutique music retail stores. Advertised for exclusive music instrument distributors and industry professionals such as producers and mastering engineers Australia wide.

When Francesca’s not behind her Mac designing, you’ll most likely find her at a venue supporting one of her artists, re-string her guitars, putting a drum kit together, trying to find more friends on myspace, reading a book, watching music videos, laughing at something that isn’t really hilarious, dusting her Batman memorabilia or simply driving home unashamedly singing.
