22 year old Coast woman launches new mortgage broking business, despite economic times
Some would say that it's not the most opportune time to start a new business, let alone a mortgage broking one given the rocking economic times the Coast and indeed the world is currently experiencing. But that's exactly the task a dynamic Mooloolaba business woman, Katie Toole, has set herself.
The proud owner of four properties at just the tender age of 22, Katie has already led an illustrious career in the Sunshine Coast's finance world, first as an administration assistant for a highly successful local investing/education business and then for two years as a finance strategist for a nationwide franchise network.
Now she hopes to share with others the secrets to her success, be they experienced investors looking for a fresh perspective and some inspiration as we potentially head into tough times, or first time home buyers likely to be nearer to her age group.
A qualified and accredited Finance Consultant with the MFAA, and with a Certificate IV in Financial Services under her belt, Katie says she has not noticed any impact the current economic climate has had on her business launch, in fact business is booming.
“With the current interest rates cuts and the increasing of the First Home Owners Grant to $14,000 and $21,000 for newly constructed homes this gives many people great opportunities to get into the market as a first home buyer or investor”, says Toole.
Katie is offering all those who visit her website and sign up for a free no obligation financial health check before 30 November 2008 the opportunity to go in the draw to win an Apple iphone valued at $800 as a special introductory offer.
